As a Coordinator you will coordinate Continuing Medical Education and Regularly Scheduled Series activities for the Psychiatry department. Perform diversified administrative/ coordinative duties in support of the business operation
Performs diversified administrative/ coordinative duties in support of the business operation.
Scheduling of all business appointments, meetings, etc.
Supports department medical staff with various administrative tasks related to compliance, credentialing, presentations, etc.
Compiles and analyzes basic information for inclusion in reports and/or presentation materials. Prepares charts, graphs, tables, as necessary.
Maintaining department files and records;
Ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.
Coordinates department's Continuing Medical Education (CME) / Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS) activities.
Serves as a liaison between department and Corporate CME Office.
Processes annual applications, renewals, evaluations and surveys.
Facilitates scheduling, travel arrangements, registration, meals, equipment and space needs.
Generates and distributes flyers, invitations, presentation materials, disclosure statements, monetary payments, etc.
Participates in Grand Round committee meetings. Responsible for meeting minutes.
Ensures operational compliance with various affiliation educational agreements (i.e. AACME).
Assists in the preparation, review and completion of grant submissions, research publications, and research presentations by creating data tables and figures, obtaining and verifying scientific and related references and researching publications to provide missing information.
Performs quality review of department medical records to identify deficiencies (missing forms, demographics, signatures, etc.) and updates accordingly.
High School Diploma or equivalent, required. College coursework, preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years administrative support experience, required.
Proficient in PC applications (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Ability to produce high quality reports, presentations, or other documents.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), required
