Job Description:

PSYCHIATRISTS

  • General Psychiatrist

  • Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

We are seeking psychiatrists for clinics in Northwest Arkansas areas such as Springdale, Rogers, Mountain Home, Harrison, and via Telehealth (location subject to availability).

General duties include:

  • Functions as a Psychiatrist seeing a mix of clinical cases within all Burrell and partner organizations outpatient facilities as assigned or approved by Burrell..

  • Timely completion of psychiatric evaluations and medication follow-up appointments as assigned by support services.

  • Complete on-call rotation for physicians as assigned.

  • Provide medical/psychiatric consultation as requested by supervisor/administrative team to staff internal to Burrell and consults externally (including court system) as assigned.

  • Oversee, collaborate and provide support to assigned Nurse Practitioners and students including acting as backup for colleagues who are out of the office.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a degree as a Medical Doctor and be licensed to practice Psychiatry in Arkansas (board eligible or certified) or be eligible for licensure in Arkansas by the date of employment; responsible to maintain an active Arkansas license during employment.
