Anka is seeking a part-time psychiatrist to join our new Group Home called Zook Place, a short term crisis home for children with intellectual/developmental disabilitie in Glendale, CA

This is a contract, part time position- to provide services for 16 hours a month. We have another Group Home opening in this area, so additional hours are a possibility.

The psychiatrist will provide in-person consultation and/or telemedicine consultation to clients.

Under the Supervision of the Chief Medical Officer and in collaboration with program staff:

Provide psychiatric consultation

Assess the condition of clients, from admission to an ongoing basis

Review client medications

Develop a therapeutic relationship with our clients

Perform administrative functions such as clinical charting and medication records



MD License. Licensed to practice and prescribe in the State of California.

State of California DEA license in good standing.


Must pass a Department of Justice and FBI fingerprint clearance.

To continue our success, we're investing further in our Glendale, CA operation and are looking to hire additional Packers for 3rd Shift. In this busy and time sensitive role, the packer is responsible for selecting and packing customer printed products in a very efficient manner. They also conduct the initial inspection of products to ensure quality control, then pack products that meet quality standards, and ensure quantities are correct according to customer specification. Other tasks and duties that are required: * Communicate with main Cutter Operator to know which form/batch is being cut, and specification thereof. * Identify quantity of form and type of stock to secure correct boxes for packing of product. * Off-load product from Cutter Tables and make sure Sticker Label is visible for order. * Conduct initial inspection of products to ensure quality control. * Physically count product orders by order number (to avoid mistakes or mixing customer orders). Accurately and safely box completed jobs. * Notify Quality Control teammate/Supervisor when completed boxes are ready for inspection. * During slow periods, make new boxes and replenish box supply according to inventory standard. * Place boxes in appropriate floor locations under/near packing table. * Exchange bins when full of stock for recycle. * Place full bins in back lot and secure empty bin from same location. * Always have required materials on hand, organized and replenished (boxes, tape guns, filling, chipboard dividers, and markers). * Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. * Ensure all equipment, tools, and work station are in good working order and is free of safety hazards. * Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required. * Report any and all workplace hazards, all related injuries, illnesses, and/or near misses to management immediately. * Keep all work area/work station in compliance with our housekeeping guidelines. * Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. * Maintain departmental housekeeping standards, such as keeping floors swept and absent of debris that may be a work hazard. Required Skills * Able to communicate effectively with other employees. * Able to read packing labels/stickers/job tickets and customer specifications. * The employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, as well as walk frequently; use foot/feet to operate machines, and talk or hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. * The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
