Community Psychiatry is an outpatient, private practice group providing high quality care to patients of all ages and diagnoses in over 25 locations throughout California. We seek to create a work setting that provides clinical autonomy, financial security, and freedom from the administrative responsibilities of a private practice. Community Psychiatry focuses on medication management with options to practice psychotherapy. All of our providers participate in minimal call coverage, use of electronic medical records, and have the opportunity to see patients through telemedicine.
Community Psychiatry is looking for Adult, Child & Geriatric Psychiatrists to join our team in locations throughout the East Bay area.

The foundation provides the infrastructure for the delivery of physician services, and contracts with a separate corporation comprised of physicians and other care providers to deliver the clinical services. This multi-specialty foundation will provide a platform from which new physicians can be recruited to continue to provide physician services in a nonprofit, community setting. The Foundation's vision is to create a medical group that will deliver high quality, market competitive medical services. Under the direction of the Director of Operations/EDO, the Registered Nurse (RN) Care Center Manager is responsible for the operational management and day to day general supervision of his or her assigned Department. RN Care Center Manager also provides for the delivery of efficient and effective professional nursing care for a designated area and ensures that nursing care provided is consistent with established nursing care standards and that care is provided in a safe, appropriate and cost-effective manner. The Nursing Manager is responsible for retention, the supervision, management and development of nursing staff and provides input to planning and monitoring of clinical operations, and assists in meeting budgetary goals. The successful manager will assume responsibility for ensuring or supporting the delivery of quality patient care to the satisfaction of patients, physicians and staff. The incumbent will remain abreast of financial and growth goals for the department and plan for continued improvement in operating and financial performance. Works collaboratively with Physician Leader for provision of quality patient care. Education * Associate's Degree * Bachelor's Degree – Preferred * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – Required Licensures and Certifications * Registered Nurse – State Licensure – RN – Required * Basic Life Support Certification – BLS Experience * 5 years of relevant experience – Preferred * Management experience in relevant area for assigned department/care center – Required * Three to five years of practical nursing experience – Required * Ambulatory, outpatient or emergency room are experience – Preferred Skills and Knowledge * Strong operations and leadership skills required. * Human resources and financial, management processes and procedures required to effectively plan, organize and coordinate ambulatory care. * Organizational and planning techniques used to manage assigned areas. * Medical terminology, clinical and administrative procedures, equipment, and facilities. * Federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations relating to the management and operations of physician practices. * Scope of practice for RNs in the State of California * Professional knowledge of clinical nursing protocols with emphasis in areas of disease processes, emergencies, health sciences, and pharmacology; medical terminology and abbreviations; understanding of managed care concepts; knowledge of what medical symptomology constitutes urgent/emergent care.
