SUMMARY

Rochester Regional Healthis recruiting physicians specializing in Chemical Dependencyto assist in a growing addictions medicine program in Upstate New York. The physician should be eligible and willing to obtain the ability to prescribe suboxone in addition to other medications. Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified and able to obtain a valid license in the state of New York.

STATUS: Full Time, Part Time

In addition to our outpatient programs, our Chemical Dependency Residential program includes 24 women's beds and 18 young men's beds.

Your knowledge and expertise coupled with keen understanding of the steps of recovery will help to achieve success for your clients. We have multiple Addiction Therapy levels available based on your credentials - ideally looking for candidates with CASAC or QHP. STATUS: Full Time LOCATION: Clifton Springs DEPARTMENT: Inpatient Chemical Dependency Addiction Therapy Levels: Level II – * Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required in Health Science, Psychology, Social Work or the alike in a Human Service field of study for all employees. * Completion of a clinical internship in chemical dependency or at least 1 year of work experience in chemical dependency. * CASAC Level III – * Minimum of a Master's degree required in Counseling, Creative Arts Therapy, Education, Marriage & Family Therapy, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, Social Work or the alike in a Human Service field. * Completion of a clinical internship in chemical dependency or mental health, or 1 year of work experience in chemical dependency or mental health. Level IV – * Minimum of a Master's degree required in Counseling, Creative Arts Therapy, Education, Marriage & Family Therapy, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, Social Work or the alike in a Human Service field. * Completion of a clinical internship in chemical dependency or mental health, or 1 year of work experience in chemical dependency or mental health. * OASAS QHP ATTRIBUTES * Ability to engage patients in meaningful ways * Compassionate and empathetic nature * Extremely organized with an attention to detail RESPONSIBILITIES * Assessment. Provide initial and ongoing assessment for clients in order to determine diagnosis and appropriate level of care * Counseling. Provide individual, family and group counseling to engage and motivate clients throughout treatment * Planning. Develop treatment plans that are individualized and culturally sensitive * Education & Communication. Communicate with other care providers and referral sources to increase understanding of client needs and support recovery.
