Mental Health Association of Columbia Greene Counties (MHACG) seeks full time paraprofessional Mobile Crisis Workers for the Mobile Crisis Assessment Team. Duties include working as part of a mobile crisis team, going out into the community to help assess, de-escalate, make determinations regarding safety and well-being of clients, work as a cohesive part of the team, actively pursue new opportunities to learn and train both on the field and in training's, maintain effective and professional communication via phone, fax, email and face to face contact, represent the agency and program in a holistic manner that encourages growth and outreach, transport clients at times, aiding in crisis assessment, aiding in group counseling or impromptu family crisis intervention, provide follow-up and case-management as well as documentation and other tasks as determined by supervisor. Ability to use databases and other technological resources is strongly considered. The position is Weds/Thurs/Fri from 9am-10pm.

Requirements for this position include a minimum of 2 years experience working in the field of mental health and/or substance abuse as a direct care worker. Familiarity with Greene and/or Columbia Counties will be considered a plus.
A clean, valid driver's license for three years is a must as is successful completion of our background check process (fingerprinting, Statewide Central Registry, etc).
