This Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker (PRW) is responsible for providing services to individuals in the life domains of living, learning, working, socializing, and self-maintenance. The goal of services is to support individuals through direct skills teaching and building of supports, to be successful and satisfied in the environment of their choosing. The PRW will conduct initial and ongoing functional assessments, develop recovery-oriented rehabilitation plans with individuals, and provide person-centered interventions identified in each individuals plan.

In addition, PRWs provide individualized and group support and supervision to individuals enrolled in services. They communicate the individuals progress, status, and any changes in daily notes and ensure that the clinical record is in accordance with program guidelines. PRWs promotes a safe and caring environment where individuals can learn and grow and promote community awareness by demonstrating professional, pleasant, approachable and helpful demeanor at all times. This position also requires the PRW to pursue and maintain their CPRP during their tenure with the organization.

Primary Hours:

Full Time - 40 hours weekly Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or based on program needs


Education and Experience: Must meet one of the following criteria:

  • High School diploma or equivalency and two years work experience in human services, which must include one year of mental health direct service


  • CPS certificate and one additional year paid or volunteer work experience in mental health direct service;


  • Associates degree and one year work experience in mental health direct service;


  • Bachelors degree

Other requirements:

  • Valid drivers license
  • Within two years of holding the position, it is the expectation that the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker obtains CPRP certification
  • Ability to pass required background clearances and screenings
