Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner that is Licensed in Montana to do Part-Time work via TeleHealth for 22 bed Adult Psych Unit. Current Average Daily Census is 16 patients.


  • Looking for NPs who can commit to Time Blocks of 4-5 hours at a time on Saturday and Sunday to round on the patients via Telepsych.

What Youll Do/ Your responsibilities

  • Video (ZOOM) conference with patients, who have non-emergency medical needs, from your remote, secure location.
  • Evaluate and complete notes via EMR system in a timely manner.


  • Have an active license for the states which you are applying
  • Board Certified (PMHNP-BC)
  • Clean NPDB
  • Active DEA for the state you are applying to
  • TeleHealth experience preferred
  • Updated CAQH preferred
  • Minimal computer navigation skills Navigate EMR system- KAREO
  • Friendly and compassionate disposition

In this position you will: * Implement a culture within organizational groups that leads to greater excellence or continuous improvement. * Assist the CNO in the execution of business strategy. * Align work group with the organization's vision; gain team commitment to related ideas and strategies. * Assist the CNO in business alliances/partnerships to create a win-win relationship and competitive advantage. * Lead unit practice committees and provide guidance and input in unit activities. * Promote staff participation in unit practice decision in unit practice decision. * Participate in unit medical staff committees as indicated by CNO. * Participate on multi-disciplinary teams to build productive working relationships and facilitate care delivery. Participate in and may lead Value Streams related to and intersecting with the unit. * Create an environment that empowers staff with skills, resources and information to take ownership and be self-directed to take initiative on behalf of patients and customers. * Report any incidences or occurrences that affect the delivery of care. Enter them into the system of record and follow up on any changes (if needed) that need to be made as a result of the incident. Participate and/or cunduct any investigation related to the incidents. * Magnet: Participate on multi-disciplinary teams to build productive working relationships and facilitate care delivery. Contribute to the organizations efforts to sustain Magnet status. Required qualifications for this position include: * Bachelor's Degree in Nursing * 3 years of nursing experience in the specialty of the unit * 1 year of previous experience in a leadership role * Must have a good understanding of quality outcome measures specific to clinical Unit and be able to apply indicators and quality outcomes to drive bedside practice * Unencumbered RN license in state(s) of hire, and wherever care is delivered. If RN holds a multistate license through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), the RN must adhere to the requirements of licensure in the new state(s) of hire * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies: American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider), American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), or Military Training Network (MTN) - (Healthcare Provider) upon hire * Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification within two years of hire and re-certification every 2 years thereafter Preferred qualifications for this position include: * Master's Degree in Nursing * 3 years of in-depth knowledge of Unit specific nursing experience in acute psychiatric/emotional/substance abuse care * 1 year of prior experience working with adolescents and adults who have mental/emotional/chemical dependency problems * ANA psychiatric/mental health certification About the hospital you will serve.
