• NextGen Work Location Adults Job ID 51146 Job Description A Bloomington based client is seeking an exceptional Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide compassionate care in an outpatient community health center. An ideal candidate is motivated, collaborative, and works well in an interdisciplinary team.
  
  Required Qualifications Master s or Doctorate Degree in Nursing with focus on Psychiatric nursing Graduation from a state-certified advanced practice program specializing in psychiatry/mental health Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse in the state of CA. Must have a valid DEA number Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and treat adults experiencing symptoms of behavioral health disorders Prescribe, recommend, or discontinue drugs and treatments to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders Responsible for providing psychiatric services to clients in a variety of clinical settings during scheduled hours.
