WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner that is Licensed in Hawaii to do Part-Time work via TeleHealth for Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Skilled Nursing Facility

  • Looking for NPs who can commit to Time Blocks of 2-3 hours at a time (however, not during meal times)
  • Responsible for Med Management- prescribing medication or recommending medication to the Medical Director of that facility
  • Conduct initial patient evaluations and monthly follow-ups

Environment:

  • Inpatient

Patient-based:

  • Adult and Geriatric

What Youll Do/ Your responsibilities

  • Video (ZOOM) conference with patients, who have non-emergency medical needs, from your remote, secure location.
  • Evaluate and complete notes via EMR system in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Have an active license for the states which you are applying
  • Board Certified (PMHNP-BC)
  • Clean NPDB
  • Multi-state licensed preferred
  • TeleHealth experience preferred
  • Updated CAQH preferred
  • Minimal computer navigation skills Navigate EMR system- KAREO
  • Friendly and compassionate disposition

Schedule

  • Weekdays (M-F)
  • Between Hours of 8am-4pm

Incumbent is able to carry out a wide variety of services in support of the core treatment and team.The PRRP mission is to provide comprehensive residential rehabilitation services for individuals with severe post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and is designed to meet the needs of Veterans and active duty service members. Learn more about this agency Responsibilities The PRRP Licensed Practical Nurse is primarily responsible for providing a full range of practical nursing care to patients with a variety of medical problems and care for mentally impaired or emotionally disturbed individuals. The purpose of the work is to provide highly skilled comprehensive and effective safe nursing care to residents and to facilitate the health and well being of residents by promoting and planning for a clean and safe environment on all tours of duty. The Licensed Practical Nurse works under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, and is assigned variety of duties to support the professional staff in PRRP. The LPN will assist with pre-admission and post-discharge procedures, admission and discharge procedures, and patient monitoring. Record and maintain patient information, such as vital signs, collecting specimens, behavior progress notes, and other health information. Listen and provide emotional support and encouragement to PRRP patients. Provides transportation and accompany patients to and from medical or dental treatments, shopping trips, and religious and recreational events in accordance with unit policy in keeping with staff/patient ratio and unit coverage. Participate in assigned therapeutic and recreational activities with patients, including board games, sports or television viewing. Clean and disinfect rooms and furnishings to maintain a safe and orderly environment for the patients.
