Glades Talent is working with a growing organization with a mission to provide the highest quality dialectical behavior
therapy (DBT) services. We are working to be in-network with insurance at the outpatient and partial
hospitalization levels of care. We are at an exciting stage of development and are seeking compassionate

Position: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Qualifications:
? Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited educational institution
? Massachusetts licensure as Advanced Practice Psychiatric Nurse
? ANCC certification as a Psych NP
Competencies:
? Sensitivity to cultural factors influencing mental health beliefs, attitudes, and treatment
preferences, and ability to provide culturally competent care.
? Skill in providing psychoeducation to patients and their families about mental health conditions,
treatment options, and self-care strategies.
? Proficiency in prescribing and managing psychotropic medications, understanding their
mechanisms of action, potential side effects, and interactions.
About the Role:
? Provide high quality medication management to program patients using appropriate
evidence-based interventions, monitors treatment progress, changes or discontinues ineffective
treatment.
? Collaborate with Medical Director and other members of the interdisciplinary team, seeks
consultation and supervision as necessary.
? Uphold DBT principles and strategies, consultation agreements, and staff and client assumptions
in interactions with clients and the team. Examples of key DBT principles include nonjudgment,

? Contribute to an environment where staff want to work and clients want to receive treatment.
? Contribute to program development (i.e., implementing new procedures or systems) to improve
patient care or team functioning.
? Work collaboratively with the Medical Director to provide patient assessment, formulate
treatment plans, prescribe medications, order laboratory tests, interpret test results, provide patient
education, and complete required documentation.
? Provide primary medical care services and referrals as indicated.
? Participate in the on-call rotation.
