Outpatient Addiction Medicine facility is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join their growing Practice in Brockton, MA

They are seeking Providers who are interested in Addiction Medicine (Suboxone and ancillary modalities) to help us expand our service offerings across the South Shore.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a mission driven organization and receive supervision and training from accomplished physicians.

NP will prescribe Suboxone to addiction medicine patients in addition to providing pain management treatment.

Assess health status by obtaining relevant health and medical history. Perform physical exams.
Identify significant health and medical risk factors.

Order, interpret and evaluate laboratory test and other diagnostic studies to assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.

Develop diagnosis by analyzing and synthesizing collected data. Develop a treatment plan along with the patient and significant others.

Prescribe and monitor medications. Develop patient education plans. Work with healthcare team members regularly to ensure quality patient care.

Part Time Flexible schedule includes 16 - 32 hours per week, structured to fit practitioners needs

Must have DEA, CSR and Buprenorphine Waiver (or be willing to obtain)

VIEW JOBS 11/3/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-01T00:00 Summary The May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilitie in Randolph is currently accepting resumes for an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADN) to assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in the supervision of nursing care. The ADN will provide, plan, coordinate and manage nursing care, nursing services and health education for the students served in conjunction with the DON. The ADN will assist with the supervisory responsibly in accordance with the organizational policies to promote optimal wellness of staff and students in the school and residential settings. The ADN will assume responsibility for appropriate assessment, planning, intervention, management, and/or referral. Responsibilities * Assumes responsibility for the administration of medications scheduled during class time or in the group home * Provides supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of students * Completes incident reports in a timely manner and supports assigned staff to do the same; notifies administration of any significant events occurring with any student in his/her care. * Conducts routine and problem centered health assessments of clients * Supervises and assists direct care staff in the delivery of health care to clients in accordance with EEC and DESE guidelines * Assist Primary Care Physician with students appointments as directed by the DON and with physical and follow up appointments for in house Physician * Attend Neuropsychology reviews as directed by the DON and cover as needed and Provide input for the scheduling of appointments for Neuropsychology reviews. * Educates staff regarding May Center Health Care Policies and Procedures teaching classes as directed by the Department or DON to both school and residential staff. * Maintain a current CPR/First Aid Trainer certificate and provide training to staff as designated by DON, Supervisor, Program Director, Training Department or other members of the management * Serve as a health care consultant to the Executive Director to maintain health requirements for the program * In conjunction with the DON, develops monthly nursing schedules, including on-call schedule. * Holds regular staff meetings to provide on-going trainings, share updates, and facilitate team building activities as well as identify issues affecting staff morale. Qualifications * Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts * Master's degree preferred * 5 years related nursing experience * Previous experience with developmentally disabled individuals and human services * Previous supervisory experience The May Institute Inc Randolph MA
