Job Summary

Job Summary

Join our team as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with the Southern Cities Psychiatric Services. You will provide clinical and direct psychiatric care to ensure the needs of the patients served by the clinics are met. The Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse will function and collaborate as a Licensed Independent Practitioner in an independent role with psychiatrists and other heath team professionals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosis and development of treatment plans

  • Provide psychotropic medication consultation and monitoring

  • Provide consultation to clinic patients and caregivers regarding psychiatric concerns

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited School of Nursing with ANCC certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

  • Licensed or license eligible as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Minnesota

  • Authorization from the Minnesota Board of Nursing to prescribe drugs and therapeutic devices
