The Psychiatric Intervention nurse cares for patients with behavioral health illnesses in an acute care setting. Responsible to conduct intake interviews, assess, and evaluate the patient. The Psychiatric Intervention nurse acts as a resource to the health care system for psychiatric needs. * Job Requirements * Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing * Experience * Preferred: Previous psychiatric nursing experience * Skills * Highly organized and have the ability to work with a variety of patients in a fast-paced environment * Have a strong focus on teamwork, and have the ability to build collaborative relationships * Very customer friendly * Incorporate ongoing education in everyday practice * Licensure/Certification/Registration * Required:RN license active in the state of Missouri * Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days*
