Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate and continually improve a formalized, creative, and multi-style approach training program in partnership with other instructors
Work cross-collaboratively to communicate, coordinate and organize training schedules
Train and continuously educate Veterinarians and Technicians on OPUs, Flushing, Transfers, Pregnancy Diagnosis, and Palpation.
Provide new technicians with resources, scientific knowledge, and up-to-date equipment
Foster a continued learning environment which also pursues improvement of team productivity, efficiency, and results
Support fully trained technician teams with knowledge and equipment updates as well as educational assistance and troubleshooting to Technicians who are lagging in results
Willingness to perform roles and functions of training participants in order to adopt/grow training programs with a continuous improvement mentality
Contribute in a production role to provide relief help to the regular production system as well as supply training materials to the other departments when there are no Veterinarians or Technicians in training
Represent Trans Ova Genetics at external functions, such as Association CE events, specialty group events, etc.
Education Requirements:
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
10-20% domestic estimated travel to train in the field
Strong understanding of core competencies in cattle reproduction
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
Other skills/experience:
Must have a devotion for teaching, growing, and developing others
Excellent verbal and electronic communication skills
