As a Product Sales Specialist, you will be revolutionizing the networking industry by advocating for a disruptive technology that is leading the way. You will cover public sector accounts in Southern California, as well as Arizona and Hawaii. Your success will be equally dependent on your ability to drive a sales cycle through to close and on the relationships you develop with regional Cisco teams. You will also work cross-functionally with internal teams product, marketing, operations, etc. to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales cycle to close through Cisco account teams while establishing relationships and credibility

  • Work existing pipeline and identify net new opportunities

  • Work in a highly collaborative environment to team with Cisco Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Marketing and Channel Partners to drive revenue and contribute to aggressive YoY growth rates

  • Execute quarterly briefings and business reviews with customers both locally and in San Francisco

  • Be awesome

Requirements:

  • Consistent track record of proven success

  • 5+ years of experience selling into Enterprise customers

  • 10+ years of software, networking, cloud or security sales experience

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

  • Must show up every single day with willingness to learn, a real passion for customer delight, and a desire to have an absolute blast while improving the lives of others

About the Role CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer with significant security domain expertise in multiple layers of technical solutions. You should be able to articulate how these solutions were designed, deployed, and finally why they are failing. You will be part of a team responsible for changing what the security market and customers believe is possible with a next generation endpoint technology. You should be a self-starter and comfortable working in a fast paced environment on multiple engagements. This role will be based remotely in the supporting region. Skills and Experience * Technical understanding of incident response, computer forensic, network administration and management and endpoint security including anti-virus solutions * Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response, Security Information Event Management solutions, packet analysis tools and operating system analysis * This role requires the ability to fully understand complex architectures and quickly identify possible gaps or opportunities for bypassing traditional security technologies. * Malware analysis experience and Cybersecurity expertise a plus * Experience with PowerShell, Python, Perl, and/or bash a plus * Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently while also managing expectations of customers and Senior Management * Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, and Development; the Sales Engineer should be the technical bridge between CrowdStrike and customers * This role requires the ability to fully understand complex architectures and quickly identify possible gaps or opportunities for bypassing traditional security technologies. * Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including being able to interact with senior executives * Extensive contacts in the information security field and strong references Requirements: * Bachelor Degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience * 5 years+ or equivalent experience in consulting or sales engineering – particularly in the areas of security incident response or security architecture design. * Willingness to travel as required.
