Quarry Hill - Midcoast Maine's premier extended care community for adults 55+, Quarry Hill provides unsurpassed independent, assisted-living, short- and long-term nursing care and specialized memory-loss care is seeking a full time PSS/CRMA to join their team!

• Position Summary This position consists of 32 hours per week.

• Provide personal care services, assistance, support and supervision to residents of Anderson Inn Assisted Living (Terraces & Courtyard). Provides services based upon service plan in order to maintain independence, dignity and social well being. Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

• Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred, with reading, comprehension and writing ability at 12th grade level or higher.

• License/Certifications: Must be currently certified as a CRMA.

• Experience: Training/experience as a PSS/CRMA. Experience or interest in working with older adults.

• Skills in nurturing and organizing similar to those in a domestic household.

• Maturity, friendliness and enjoyment in working with people.

• OSHA-MSDS sheets and procedures.

• Fire and safety procedures.

• Knows resident rights and understands abuse and neglect per state regulations.

• Food-handling regulations

• Operation of kitchen appliances (dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, coffeemaker, ice machine, etc.), office equipment (fax machine, photocopier, telephone, etc), and household appliances (vacuum cleaner, etc.).

• Skills in nurturing and organizing similar to those in a domestic household.

• Maturity, friendliness and enjoyment in working with people.
