Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an experienced Patient Services Specialist (Full-time, 40 hours/week with weekend and holiday rotations) to join our team in our Los Gatos office location.


As a patient services specialist, you will be the main point of contact in the office for all our patients. Excellent customer service and communication skills are critical, as you'll be in charge of maintaining a welcoming environment, and ensuring the smooth operations of things in the office. Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and demands, on time and in a calm manner.

The main responsibilities of this position include:

  • Greet and assist all patients during their visit

  • Schedule patient appointments and procedures

  • Obtain and verify insurance information, coverage, and benefits

  • Get authorizations for office visits and procedures

  • Collect co-pays and insurance payments

  • Answer phone calls

  • Data entry

  • Other duties as needed


  • Experience working in a healthcare environment

  • Excellent internal and external customer service

  • Ability to work with diverse patient population.

  • Ability to travel between local offices

  • MUST be able to work rotation of weekends and holidays as scheduled

  • Team player

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a warm demeanor

  • Meticulously organized and detail oriented

  • Proficient in Word and Excel
