PSI - DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY - FULL TIME

Hours: This position will work 40 hours per week generally core business hours and as needed.
As a Director of Pharmacy , you will oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs with assistance from a full support team.
We'll rely on you to establish a collaborative and constructive relationship with all healthcare staff, create pharmacy workflows and processes that maximize safety and minimize costs and to motivate the pharmacy staff to a high standard of achievement.
The Director of Pharmacy will perform some staffing duties and supervises Pharmacists and t echnicians. M aintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; aid in the training of new staff and to oversee operations of the outpatient anticoagulation Coumadin Clinic

BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
State of Ohio Pharmacist licensure in good standing
Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other staff.
Ability to work cooperatively with other members of PSI, CPS, hospital and pharmacy staff
Management experience in a healthcare/hospital environment. (preferred)
Experience & Knowledge of 340B and contract pharmacies,
Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems, Cerner Community Works systems (preferred)
Effective communications skills; verbal and written
(PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
