Supports the general mission of the Public Safety Coordination Center (PSCC) by maintaining the interests of CSX Transportation (CSXT). Prioritizes, manages, coordinates, and documents incidents and emergencies in accordance with established procedures. Provides timely and accurate communication services to the employees, departments, and customers of CSXT, as well as to public emergency responders (police, fire, ambulance), and regulatory agencies as required by law.
Primary Activities and Responsibilities
Communicate and coordinate with CSX and local emergency responders, general public, CSXT Train Dispatchers, Network Operations, Hazardous Materials, Engineering, Claims, and any other required internal or external entity for emergency and non-emergency situations including crossing accident and derailment prevention measures.
Maintain CSX critical infrastructure through observation and reporting of threats identified via intelligent video systems.
Ensure regulatory notification compliance.
Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager.
Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
1 or more years of experience in Railroad Operations, Law Enforcement, Military, Customer Service or Emergency Communications
