We are seeking a Research Analyst who will work primarily on an NIH-funded research study investigating healthy aging in autism spectrum disorder. The Research Analyst will get hands-on experience in the administration and study execution, team-science, and protocol development and implementation. The individual will have the opportunity to develop their research skills across multiple methodological approaches, including cognitive and behavioral assessment and multimodal neuroimaging (MRI).

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

The Research Analyst will work primarily on one NIH-funded research study, with additional studies potentially added over time. The individual will have many opportunities to contribute to the scientific process and can expect authorship commensurate with contribution. Work duties will include, but are not limited to the following;

1.Recruitment, scheduling, and testing of research participants.

2.Data collection from a variety of sources.

3.Data entry and database management.

4.Conducts basic statistical analyses.

5.Assists in the preparation of manuscripts and presentation materials.

6.Maintains files and records of research data.

7.Edits research papers, project reports, and publication materials.

8.May travel to a variety of sites both within and outside the University campus to obtain data.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field, or equivalency, plus two years of related experience. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required.

A valid Utah Driver's License may be required in certain departments.

This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated vaccination requirements, or be approved for an exemption, prior to the first day of work.
