Our National Security Team supports the intelligence community, providing, operating and assuring critical voice, video and collaboration services for the full spectrum of operations.

AT&T has an opening for a Provisioning Functional Lead Expert, who is responsible for Management of Global Provisioning Team. Primary interface with Government Technical Manager.

Team provides Provision, Aggregation and Security Compliance Patch support to the Enterprise Network. Supports an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), customer networks, Intranet and Internet and other data communications systems or a segment of a network system.

Monitors network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability Maintains network hardware and software.

Proactively identify risks in the network and develop a plan to mitigate them. Provides support of numerous business requirements into telecommunications (e.g., LAN, MAN, WAN, Voice and Video).

Qualifications:
Advanced networking qualifications including MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and LAMBDA.

LAN/MAN/WAN/Optical specialization. Utilization of common ticket systems (Remedy, ServiceNow) and common network management tools (HPOV, HPNA, Solarwinds, MNS, Netcool, etc).

Candidate must have hands on troubleshooting and fault isolation of IT business systems. Applicant must have a strong understanding of the OSI model and configuration of routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, BGP, LDP.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Candidate must have a total of 12 years of applicable experience.

The experience can be a combination of degree and work history. This can be a High School degree and 12 years of work history OR an Associate's and 10 years, a Bachelors' and 8 years, a Masters and 6 years or a PhD and 2 years of work history.

Desired Certifications: Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Juniper JNCIA, JNCIS, or JNCIE, ITIL Foundations, and/or CISSP.

Required Clearance: TSSCI with Polygraph.(#polygraph)

Work to be performed in Mclean, VA

AT&T has an opening for a Lead System Design Engineer to support a US Govt. customer in the Northern VA area in providing network management, monitoring technical support and operations a large on-site professional services contract. Job Duties/Responsibilities: * Install, manage and maintain various enterprise network management application and tools (hardware and software) * Identify, maintain and monitor the performance of network elements, traffic and services * Develop meaningful network performance monitoring measures * Build, administer and maintain configuration management functions of network devices to support configuration compliance and backups * Create and design network maps and other data visuals (i.e. graphs, charts, statistics etc.) to support monitoring, reporting and alerting functions within network operations and management realm * Implement procedures and processes that support network fault identification, diagnosis and event notification/alerting in coordination with network operations * Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues and errors related to the system administration and integration of all network management application and tools across the infrastructure * Ensure protection and security of data, software and hardware of network management application and tools * Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures for all network management application and tools * Log and triage new incidents, problems, change requests and service requests to ensure accurate information is captured and documented within the ticket * Effectively translate customer requests/requirements into tangible deliverables * Collaborate regularly with network engineering and network operations staff to develop knowledge base and augment fault response and or prevention * Develop and maintain detailed system documentation and standard operating procedures * Construct and maintain scripts and utilities which automate repetitive routine tasks, administer network components * Support day-to-day and routine maintenance of all network management application and tools such as user access administration, upgrades/patching, policy management, system hardening, etc. * Develop intelligent SNMP polling and/or alerting to facilitate meaningful network monitoring * Knowledge of a various types of network components and their functions (routers/switches/firewalls; application servers; SANs; SBCs, etc.) * Knowledge of Windows and Unix operating system environments * Understand large enterprise network infrastructure Assist with the development and progression of new talent * Support transition(s) and transition activities when assigned * Oversee special or ad-hoc project assignments * This is an individual contributor position (non-supervisory) that will be manage matrixed resources from across the organization in support of program objectives. Required Clearance: Top Secret (TS) SCI w/Polygraph (#polygraph) Required Qualifications: * Bachelor of Science Degree Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience. * 20+ Years of Experience, direct experience working for or with National Security customers in Northern Virginia in support of technology programs. * Excellent verbal, written communications skills, customer engagement and organization skills are a must.
