POSITION SUMMARY:

Coordinating with the Recruitment efforts and fully supporting the On-Boarding process for all providers (Physicians, NPs, PAs, and Midwives) and ensure the enrollment process is complete for all providers before they join VMG. Coordinate with Medical Staff Office to ensure that all providers are credentialed with appropriate privileges at the Hospital.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor,s degree in business related field is required.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum three years of Medical Group experience working with providers.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Proficient in software applications including Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-up, telephone and math skills required.

Executive presence and professional demeanor is a must. Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) and interact with providers/customers/staff to meet their needs, and outside vendors. Ability to work independently in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision.

Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment and interact with others at various levels. Ability to work under pressure, handle frequent interruptions, multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to change in workload and work schedule. Ability to set priorities, make effective decisions, take initiative, and respond quickly to customer/staff needs and vendor inquiries/issues.

Ability to recognize, prioritize and deal with problematic situations. Uses discretion in confidential matters and exercises common sense and good judgment. Must be adaptable, a self-starter, have the ability to multi-task.
