What you'll be responsible for:

Reporting to the Director of Payer Operations, the Provider Enrollment Manager partner with internal teams, providers, and payers to contract with payers and enroll providers. This role will be responsible for managing the Provider Enrollment Team in contracting, enrolling, and maintaining participation with governmental and commercial payers.

What you'll work on:

  • Deliver high quality service to operations team and ensure providers are enrolled with payers appropriately and timely.

  • Manage department priorities to address business and operational goals and challenges. • Report team statuses and team metrics to upper management.

  • Ensure all required privileges are maintained 100% of the time.

  • Research and investigate complex enrollment and contracting issues.

  • Create relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Measure and improve enrollment processes to minimize turnaround times.

  • Distribute assignments and monitor workload.

  • Develop policies and guidelines and ensure consistent department-wide implementation.

  • Attend meetings as requested.

  • Manages the enrollment application process for the Providers and make them available for the physicians for review, revision, and approval prior to submission to the Agency.

  • Assists with initiating and executing payer contracts for individuals and groups.

  • Effectively manage large amounts of information and documentation.

  • Run reports for weekly updates to management on enrollment and contracting statuses.

  • Work with Revenue Cycle to resolve held AR issues.

  • Participate in various education/training as required.

  • Comply with HIPPA and Corporate Compliance program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.

  • Always maintain privacy and confidentiality.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Director

  • Plan and monitor staffing activities, including hiring, training, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.

  • Assess staffing needs, establishing performance goals for staff.

  • Work with Director to set team metrics, manage team to meet designated metrics, and hold contributors accountable.

  • Conduct regularly scheduled one-on-one interactions with direct reports, designed to enhance awareness, support, and accountability.

  • Train new Privileging Specialists on privileging process and specific tasks.

What you'll bring to Access TeleCare:

  • Bachelor's or Associates Degree preferred. High school diploma required.

  • At least two years of related experience required in physician hospital credentialing or physician licensing.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology.

  • Working knowledge of state, governmental, and commercial payer regulations, policies, and procedures, and NCQA Standards.

  • In-depth working knowledge of the various governmental and commercial payer requirements, contracts, applications, and workflow process. • Ability to research data and summarize key data points.

  • Knowledge of CAQH, PECOS, and State Medicaid portals

  • Demonstrate proficiency in use of Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe, and credentialing software.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and self-manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Look for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met.

  • Maintain confidentiality.

  • Ability to assume responsibility and exercise good judgement in making decisions within the scope of authority of the position.

  • Must demonstrate and promote a positive team-oriented environment.

  • Must possess ability to manage change, delays, or unexpected events appropriately.
