Position Summary
The Provider Compensation Analyst is responsible for consultation and administration of provider compensation within the PPG business unit. Performs other projects in support of organization goals and initiatives as requested.
Accountabilities
1.Prepare provider compensation benchmarking and equity analysis; make associated pay recommendations for new and existing providers
2.May calculate, administer and/or review compensation related to provider bonuses, quality incentives, and retention.
3.Calculate and administer compensation adjustments resulting from provider contract changes.
4.Partner with Manager and team members to support process improvement efforts.
5.Collaborate with other departments across the health system including: Operations, Finance, Legal, and Human Resources.
6.Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, human resources, or related field.
Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with others in a team based environment
Strong Microsoft Excel background/skills .
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills: Large company experience, particularly in an organization with multiple business units
Years of Experience: 2+ years' provider compensation experience and/or healthcare experience within a related field.
Ability to comprehend complex quantitative information that is confidential in nature and exercise necessary discretion.
Ability to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries; excellent interpersonal skills required
