Job Summary:

Responsible for scheduling orientations, preparing and distributing orientation material, conducting surveys, coordinating provider trainings, generating reports, creating spreadsheets and other administrative functions in support of the provider relations team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule orientations for newly contracted providers for assigned line(s) of business

  • Prepare and distribute orientation information packets by provider specialty for assigned line(s) of business

  • Conduct quarterly provider surveys on provider liaison department's performance for assigned line(s) of business

  • Manager provider A0 Report for provider status accuracy and provider start-up utilization

  • Assist with and coordinate Provider Training and conference events

  • Prepare test cases and assist in KMEP User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Update templates for dictating providers and coordinate with Transcription Manager

  • Assist in Provider Newsletter content development and formatting

  • Assist in SAS provider orientation management

  • Field incoming telephone calls; assist customers on the phone or direct calls accordingly

  • Coordinate distribution of materials using company approved vendors in a cost effective manner

  • Lead/assist in facility management projects as assigned

  • Generate reports and create spreadsheets for the Manager, Provider Liaisons, Director, Provider Relations and Provider Relations Manager

  • Maintain Provider Liaison's Outlook calendars for assigned line(s) of business

  • Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization


  • Basic knowledge of office equipment (FAX, copier, printer, etc)
  • Organization and multi-tasking abilities with a strong attention to detail

Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)

  • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation

VIEW JOBS 11/14/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-12T00:00 PURPOSE The Primary Care Provider provides direct high quality and evidence based patient medical care including diagnosis, treatment and/or proper referral, follow-up, education and counseling. Duties may include seeing children and adolescents. PCP will participate in quality assurance, quality improvement, peer review and special project. TASKS Manages and maintains a program of comprehensive health for patients to include preventative medicine, behavioral sciences, and community health. * Examine patients, formulates diagnostic plans, defines and orders required diagnostic testing. * Interperts examination finding and test results and implements treatment plans. * Conducts medical examinations and reviews collateral information of assigned patients in accordance with applicable guidelines. * Timely completes required EMR and all other documentation according to medical license and Center standards. * Evaluates urgent conditions of patients in a competent and timely manner. * Responsible for coordinating medical care with internal and external medical specialties as needed. * Determines needs for consultation and assists in coordination of medical care and treatment provided at the direction of other specialists. * Prescribes and assesses effectiveness of pharmaceuticals, other medications and treatment regimens as appropriate for patient medical accordance with the Centers Prescribing Practices Policies and Procedures * Ability to supervise, advise, train clinical professionals, residents, and/ or students in area of health-related topics. * Orders labs in accordance with appropriate guidelines. * Other duties as assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Current Texas Physician Assistant OR RN license, Advanced Practice license from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners, Texas Department of Public Safety Controlled Substance Registration Certificate (DPS), and U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency Substance Registration Certificate (DEA) * Completion of an accredited relevant Residency Program if applicable (Family Nurse Residency) * Must apply to be credentialed with all Center contracted payors * Must have working knowledge of the principles of the development, implementation, and documentation of individualized care and treatment * Must have working knowledge of State and Federal laws and professional standards related to medical treatment * Must have ability to evaluate patients, set up and carry out an effective course of treatment utilizing the expertise of other clinical personnel with a minimum of direction * Must maintain required credentials and mandatory training requirements to ensure compliance with all State regulations and CHCS policies * Must be proficient with standard Microsoft Office applications and EMR systems * Must maintain a valid drivers license and automobile insurance coverage, be able to travel as needed, and be able to meet on a consistent basis the driving record requirements of the Companys auto insurance carrier if you drive your vehicle during company business * Must be able to meet the physical requirements to complete SAMA and CPR training including lifting up to 12 lbs. and supporting up to 55 lbs.; bending, stooping and getting on and off the floor without assistance. * Must have adequate mobility that requires frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching (vertical and horizontal), using fingers, hands, feet, legs and torso in various care. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to occasionally transfer a consumer.
