ZipLiens is a leading lien resolution company. Our mission is to streamline the lien resolution process for our clients (personal injury law firms), ensuring accurate and timely resolutions. We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Provider Billing Specialist to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:
As a Provider Billing Specialist at ZipLiens, you will be essential to our lien resolution process. Your key duties will involve verifying final balance requests, ensuring the proper authority of recovery, checking for filed liens, and resolving each bill and lien in accordance with personal injury settlements. This role demands excellent communication skills, as you will facilitate coordination between various departments through emails and phone calls.

Potential for cross-training for other roles and departments within the company, such as Contract Review Analyst or Medicare & Medicaid Specialist.

Requirements

strong>Education: Bachelor's Degree or four years of relevant Medical Billing, Legal or Call Center experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verification of Final Balance Requests: Accurately verify final balance requests to ensure all details are correct and complete.
  • Confirming Authority of Recovery: Confirm if the proper authority of recovery is in place and determine if a lien has been filed.
  • Lien Resolution: Resolve each bill and lien to a resolution in accordance with personal injury settlements.
  • Communication: Coordinate communication between various departments to ensure a smooth and efficient lien resolution process. This includes sending and responding to emails and making calls to gather and relay information.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities related to billing and lien resolution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including legal and settlement departments, to ensure all aspects of the lien resolution process are handled effectively.

Compliance: Ensure all actions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
