JOB TITLE: Protocol and Public Affairs Analyst


WBB is seeking a senior-level management analyst to provide project management and technical support to assist the Government in planning, executing, and maintaining research and development programs and projects across the multidiscipline engineering support structure. Provide top-tier communications and technical writing to support the development and staffing of the Weekly Activity Reports (WARs) and to author technical documents to support the Data & Analysis Center.


  • Planning and executing a commanders communication strategy through corporate communication, media and stakeholder engagements, community outreach activities directed towards the internal and external public with an interest in the DoD, Army, S&T community

  • Participate in and assist with the execution, supervision, and administration of successful Army Public Affairs programs and activities in support of government relations, issue management, corporate and social responsibility, information dissemination and strategic communications

  • May also assist internal and external Technical Writing communications

  • Plan and orchestrate VIP visits, ceremonies, meetings, and special events, to include but not limited to invitations, transportation, and billeting arrangements

  • Gather, collate, format and edit technical materials, such as scientific research activity reports

  • Provide Quality Control functions throughout the development and submission of documentation generated, housed, or tracked through any business system

  • Execute independent decisions within established guidelines and perform a full range of business operation services


Security Clearance: Secret

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance

  • Bachelors Degree with Five (5)- Eight (8) years of related experience

  • General knowledge in the particular area of specialization - executive level internal and external communications

  • Must be pro-active and self-directed with the ability to define tasking, manage workload from multiple sources, and independently resolve multifaceted situations


  • Innovative, with the ability to resolve complex issues, strong organizational skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively convey information across all organizational levels

  • Strong customer service focus

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite with demonstrated experience

Utilizes monitoring, performance analysis, network management, software and hardware equipment to trouble shoot and isolate problems, gauge network performance, and trace data and protocol activity. Devises solutions to complex operational problems within the capacity and operational limitations of installed equipment. Develops and executes contingency plans for network software and hardware failures including isolated and major outages. Reduce network traffic from PCAP files into a MySQL database for analysis. * Network analysis using Wireshark and MySQL to analyze network traffic throughput, latency, and packet loss rates. * Desired Certifications: * CCNA (CCNP preferred). * CompTIA Security+ (or ability to certify within 6 months of hire).
