Schrdinger, a technology leader specializing in software solutions for life science research and development, is seeking a computational scientist with outstanding skills for the development of structure-based drug design methods for use in the refinement of computationally predicted atomic models. The ideal candidate is a scientist experienced in the application, development, and refinement of methods for atomic-scale structure-based drug design. The candidate should have a demonstrated ability to build novel algorithms but also be comfortable building on top of existing ones. The candidate should also work well in a collaborative environment and be eager to adopt good software engineering practices.

Required qualifications include:

  • Ph.D. in computational chemistry, computational biology, chemical physics, or related fields

  • Unix/Linux, Fortran/C/C++, Python experience

  • Experience developing scientific tools to validate novel algorithms

  • Peer-reviewed publications in computational chemistry, chemical physics, and/or computational biology.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Experience with protein-loop prediction algorithms.

  • Experience with homology modeling and the relationships between sequence and structure.

  • Experience incorporating orthogonal pieces of data to find solutions to problems.

  • Broad knowledge of algorithms used in computational drug discovery

TABB Group is looking for a self-motivated individual with a strong understanding of the fixed income / FICC markets for the position of senior research analyst based in New York City. Responsibilities * Develop fixed income / FX thought leadership on issues including impact of trading technology, dark pools, algorithmic trading, RFQ and auction markets and how investors and traders are accessing FICC liquidity * Engage with clients on a wide range of critical issues, trends, strategies and technologies * Gather, synthesize and analyze information from a number of channels into published reports and private consulting engagements * Deliver strategic and tactical consulting engagements * Maintain a constant dialogue with clients and the market at large, as well as handling ad hoc requests from clients and the media * Give presentations and participate at client meetings, conferences and seminars Required Experience and Knowledge * Minimum of 5 years experience working at a bank, broker, asset manager, trading venue or vendor supporting one of these constituencies. Candidates without this experience will not be considered. * Minimum of 3 years of market structure research, business analysis, corporate strategy, or internal consulting experience either within a financial markets firm or a consulting firm.
