You are a proactive leader with strategic vision, detail-oriented with operational skills and serious about security and our commitment to confidentiality. You have impeccable judgment and can quickly solve problems in a logical manner, while working independently and/or as a part of the EP team.

Youll provide the organizational, analytical, and physical skills necessary to ensure safety and security to support the leadership services team. Youll collaborate and maintain relationships with cross-functional partners to support the leadership services team to provide time critical results.

You seek to understand Google's internal and commercial offerings, open source tools, emerging technologies and assess the best in class, and determine the most practical applications in an organized and detailed manner sharing your seriousness about security and our commitment to confidentiality.

You are willing to collaborate and lead a cross-functional team from various disciplines to support the leadership support services team with cutting edge security technologies from all open sources. You will lead individuals and teams or multiple groups and play an active role in analyzing project goals, and creating a plan to achieve those goals and then driving team members, customer stakeholders/subject-matter-experts and potentially other third-parties to achieve those goals while understanding the environment and limitations to execution.

From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Googles Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process.

You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
15 years of security management experience, law enforcement, or military experience conducted in global locations.
10 years of experience managing security technology groups and subject matter experts in security technologies that design and implement customized solutions.

Ability to work non-standard hours and travel domestically/internationally as required.

Preferred qualifications:
15 years of relevant work experience within the security technology space.

Experience analyzing intelligence and threat reports to determine the risk level to a location, event or person so that resources can be scoped appropriately

Experience managing members of a specialized security team

Experience with Physical Access Control Systems, Video Management Systems, Advanced Telephony, IoT/Cyber standards and specifications for Physical Security Devices and TSCM

Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment.

Strong communication, highly organized, exceptional attention to detail, services skills, and able to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and customer

Manage the technical incident response program (e.g. incident management, playbook automation, evaluate current procedures, practices and precedents for accomplishing the teams activities and functions relative to security). Make and carry out recommendations for improvement.

Collaborate on the identification, design, development and deployment of technological solutions for one-off requirements (e.g. mobile security alarms and monitoring systems, residential security and network systems, radio systems, satellite technology, GPS tracking).

Support penetration testing, red-teaming, contract negotiations and execution; vendor sourcing, onboarding, financial/budget management, development of strategic business case, budgeting forecasts, Key Performance Indicator Metrics, mitigate financial risks and increase ROI.

Serve as a liaison to executives and stakeholders for all matters regarding resourcing, training and risk.

Develop strong relationships with domestic/international stakeholders and private sector peers to identify best practices.

Develop relationships with domestic and international law enforcement and government counterparts, as well as private sector peers worldwide to help facilitate travel and event security. * Assist with financial and budget management.
