Prospector Outside Sales
Consolidated Supply Co. is a Pacific Northwest plumbing, heating, and water works wholesale distributor. We are seeking a Prospector Outside Salesperson to entirely focus on prospecting new business. This entry level outside sales position will serve as the key representative for the company and its products to prospective customers. Supports and promotes Company initiatives (i.e., customer service and corporate promotions).
Achieves sales, gross margin, and market penetration goals through prospecting new customers/opportunities along with undeveloped house account customers, applying quality sales techniques, consultative selling, utilizing Company organizational and time management programs, and customer service skills.
May have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing or related field; and/or 1-2 years' experience in sales or industry related wholesale plumbing, heating, and/or water works products preferred; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above described essential functions
Great customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, developers, estimators and inside sales staff.
A desire to meet sales and margin goals and gain new customers.
Excellent computer software skills required.
A valid driver's license
