Prosecutor

The City of Orem Legal Services Department is currently hiring a Prosecutor. This is a full-time, benefited position working under the direction of the City Attorney or a Deputy City Attorney. This position is responsible for the prosecution of violations of all municipal ordinances and state law misdemeanors and infractions. Prosecutors will investigate, screen and prepare cases for trial by examining documents, case law, evidence, correspondence, etc.- Graduation from accredited law school

• Certification of admission to Bar of the State of Utah

• Eligibility to practice law before courts of State of Utah and the United States District CourtThe current salary range for Prosecutors is $88,377 - 132,566 Annually. Individual starting salary will depend on qualifications, certifications, and experience. This is an FLSA-exempt position.
