DOMA Technologies is a rapidly growing software company that specializes in providing innovative solutions and services to our clients. We are seeking a Proposal Writer to join our team to develop high-quality and winning proposals in response to complex RFPs. The Proposal Writer will work closely with the Capture, Business Development, and Technical teams to develop compliant and compelling proposals that meet client requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop complex federal proposals that are compliant and compelling.

• Develop technical proposal narrative for software development, digital transformation, and cloud focused opportunities.

• Work with technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to document, write, and articulate our proposed solutions and past performance.

• Develop and maintain proposal content databases, including past performance references, resumes, and technical approach content.

• Develop and execute proposal outlines, schedules, and compliance matrices.

• Collaborate with the Capture and Business Development teams to develop win themes, differentiators, and value propositions.

• Write, edit, and format proposal content, ensuring adherence to RFP requirements.

• Support proposal review cycles, incorporating feedback from multiple stakeholders.

• Proofread and edit proposals to ensure they are accurate, compliant, and meet quality standards.

• Conduct final proposal review and quality assurance checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in proposal development with a proven track record of developing winning proposals.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Experience working with technical SMEs to develop proposal narrative that accurately describes our solutions and meets the client's requirements.

• Experience developing technical proposal narrative for software development, digital transformation, and cloud focused opportunities.

• Strong understanding of the acquisition process and procurement regulations.

• Ability to analyze complex RFPs and develop compliant and compelling responses.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant proposal tools and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• APMP certification

• Shipley certification and/or training

• Significant experience in developing federal proposals
