The Proposal Writer is responsible for researching and writing persuasive executive summaries, responses to RFPs/ RFIs and unsolicited proposals that show the value of client's services, vision and expertise. A critical component of this position is the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and complex environment where multiple stakeholders contribute to the proposal and RFP response. The objective of this role is to assist in the procurement of additional revenue.
Develop/write executive summaries, RFP/RFI responses and unsolicited proposals to successfully
communicate the company's capabilities
Engage throughout the proposal lifecycle to create uniform and compelling responses and proposals
Ensure adherence to standards and templates to present a consistent appearance/style in compliance with our corporate identity
Review, edit, and proofread documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency
Manage and prioritize multiple proposal assignments to meet strict submittal deadlines
Develop content to include in proposal response database
Meet proposal response deadlines 100 percent of the time

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Communications, English, Journalism or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 2 to 3 years RFP/proposal writing and editing or other sales communication experience.
Must have a Call Center or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry experience. Healthcare or managed care experience preferred.
Proven ability to write and edit persuasive proposal content. Ability to edit proposal content for clarification and consistency. Adherence to proposal schedule deadlines.
Strong time management and organizational skills. Demonstrated excellence in attention to detail and follow through. Experience using Knowledgebase software or ability to understanding proposal databases is preferred.
Strong written, editing and verbal skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work both independently and in groups.
Ability to understand, track, analyze and use information to develop effective sales proposals and RFP/RFI responses.

Ability to handle and resolve complex issues within a team, depa1tment and client process. Ability to influence others and work well with resources at all levels of the organization to achieve objectives.
