Ensuring Chart's Success
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be
Analyzes RFQ/RFP's and coordinate with client representative to determine best design approach.
Reviews Projects Specifications and identify scope for Rating and Estimating.
Evaluates designs for most cost effective means of fabrication.
Prepares/reviews cost estimates and suggest methods of cost cutting.
Expedites information from client in a timely fashion to maintain proposal schedule.
Coordinates with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing personnel to assure equipment can be fabricated within customer's scope.
Develops proposal pulling together Rating, estimates, technical and commercial clarifications.
Checks work for adherence to company standards of excellence and compliance with client's requirements.
Advises client of the most technically feasible approach to achieving project goals and influences client's decision such that it is consistent with overall good engineering and manufacturing practices.
Maintains liaison with client representative to assure proposal is accepted.
Updates CRM and maintains files on active proposals.
Ensures timely submittal of proposals.
Your Professional Experience Should Be
1-3 years Engineering, Design or Manufacturing
Possess excellent written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Strong working knowledge of all Industry Codes and Standards pertaining to design and fabrication of ACHES.
Ability to complete formal training in area of specialty
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures
Ability to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
Ability to work under immediate supervision
Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to understand the sense of urgency
Your Education Should Be
B.S. in Engineering, preferred or equivalent experience
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require
REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) WHILE IN THE SHOPS:
Steel Toe Shoes
Gloves (when needed)
Face Shield (when needed)
