Position: PursuitCenter of Excellence Content Senior Associate

As part of the marketing organization, the national proposalcenter of excellence (theStudio) is expanding to become the Pursuit Center ofExcellence (COE). As such, the content team is expanding to enable thedevelopment and delivery of all sales content and tools, enhancing clienttouch-points throughout the sales cycle. The Pursuit COE is hiring three contentsenior associates, who will report to the pursuit COE content leader, and will beresponsible for developing pursuit assets, including value propositions,differentiators, proposal language, capability presentations, case studies,quotes, infographics, brochures and more across Grant Thornton's services andindustries. These positions will also enhance existing pursuit assets. Pursuitassets will be customized by the

Studio and the pre-proposal materials team forclient delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Pursuit COE teamin the early stages of expansion/development, and help shape this resourcecenter into a world-class, highly valued function within Grant Thornton,building upon the remarkable success of the Studio.

Location: Anymajor market, ideally Chicago. Remote/telecommute available, but must be located within an hour drivingdistance of a Grant Thornton office.

Pursuit COE content senior associate responsibilities include:

  • Content Creation - create concise, eye-catching, andinnovative headlines and body copy. Research and organize facts and sources tosupport content messaging. Craft value propositions and differentiators thatresonate with the target market.

  • Collaboration Work in partnership with contentpeers, design, proposal writers, Bangalore colleagues, the pursuit executionteam, broader marketing and sales team, and others. Participate and play anactive role in regular meetings to share best practices, information, problemsolving, etc., with other team members.

  • Project Management Own content projects by creatingtimelines/responsibility assignments and driving continuous communication withinternal stakeholders and SMEs. Identify and remove barriers of progress,escalating issues as needed to the pursuit COE content leader.

  • Innovation and Creativity Develop innovative and creative content to conveymessaging in a concise, compelling manner (visuals, infographics, digitalpresentations/videos/interactive PPs and PDFs) to increase our likelihood of drivingresults along the sales cycle.

  • Knowledge Management Comply and use content repositories to tag andstore content, enabling real-time ease of access for colleagues.

  • Training and sharing best practices Serve as atraining resource and brand ambassador sharing content approaches and learningsfrom the pursuit process. Actively share best practices.

  • Service desk responsiveness support the executionarm of the pursuit COE team by responding to queries for content through aservice desk model, with a sense of urgency and speed.

Requirements/PreferredTechnical Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism orrelated field preferred

  • 3 years of experience writing for the accounting/consulting industry(ideal) or a large agency or corporation

  • Understanding of the pursuit / sales cycle and sales enablement content

  • Sound skill with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint,Excel)

  • Knowledge of Qvidian a plus, but not required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent grasp of English language

  • Creative and innovative thinker and planner

  • Confident in producing work across multiple platforms

  • Able to align multiple brand strategies and ideas

  • Assists team members when needed to accomplish teamgoals

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage timeefficiently

  • Self-motivated and self-directed

  • Ability to work independently or as an active memberof a team

  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with alllevels of management
