Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Property/Asset Mgmt Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

This position will be located in Huntsville, AL. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems Division Property Management Office, working under the direction of the Huntsville Property Manager, supporting the property management needs of the IBCS WISLA Contract. Responsibilities:

Coordinate property control activities to ensure continual accountability of government and company property in accordance with applicable government regulations and corporate policy.

Maintain accurate property accountability files and records in a centralized property management system.

Conduct internal property audits and provide guidance on governmental regulations pertaining to property accountability to the program.

Assist in arranging for disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment.

Prepare periodic general and special purpose reports. Support multiple property focal points/task orders on the IBCS contract

Occasional travel may be required to support inventories/audits at various customer sites.

Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies.

Performs fairly complex tasks and participates in determining objectives of assignment. Plan schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would normally have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.

Represents organization as an alternate contact on the SWDC contract. Interacts with internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

May require travel up to 10%

Basic Qualifications:

3 Years with Bachelors; 1 Years with Masters with Prior Government Property Management experience and complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards.

Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Knowledge of Basic FAR and DFAR experience

Must be able to work on-site in Huntsville, AL

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Property Management Certification

Extensive Experience with AssetSmart and SAP Databases

Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform fairly complex professional tasks.

Familiarity with basic contract requirements eagerness and willingness to learn rapidly
