The Role

Our Property Specialist is accountable for end-to-end management of the New Zealand property portfolio including property repair, maintenance, and improvement. There is a large scope for autonomy and wide variety of tasks. The role is working out of Lumino Head office based in Auckland.

A snapshot of what you will be doing

  • Accountable for effectiveness and efficiency of the capital repairs, maintenance, and replacements

  • Accountable for proactive management of the property portfolio including maintenance and refresh programs

  • Accountable for risk mitigation as well as implementation of any legislative requirements associated with the property portfolio

  • Manages of repair, maintenance, and capital installations

  • Generates of effective analysis of the capital and property portfolio resulting in actionable insights

  • Tracks qualitative and quantitative metrics to capture, report and evaluate the benefit and performance of all capital and property related activity

  • Delivers Abano Group Transformation agenda via implementation of specific milestones relevant to scope of the role

  • Provides expert advice to key stakeholders across Abano Group on all aspects of property and capital management activity where relevant to enhancing enterprise value

  • Engages with Abano Group practice network to proactively communicate direction as well as seek feedback and create organisational advocates for major changes

What does a successful candidate look like?

Critical Experience & Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in property and capital management roles

  • Prior knowledge of dental equipment and dental practice operations

  • Project delivery toolkit with a track record of delivering property projects

  • Grounding in the property industry and a detailed knowledge of the property management process

  • A desire to continuously review and improve current practices and processes, with a collaborative approach to all stakeholders
