GENERAL PURPOSE

Ensure maintenance of exterior and interior areas of community property, including grounds, walkways, driveways, and parking lot. Perform preventative maintenance duties. Perform Emergency Preparedness and Response duties. Perform hazard communication duties.

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Must have minimum of two years' verifiable direct maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc. is necessary.

  • Must have experience in the safe handling and use of tools normally used in construction, maintenance, and landscaping. These tools include circular saw, power drill, bench grinder, string trimmer, hedge trimmer, power floor cleaner, carpet cleaning machine, paint sprayer, power drain cleaner, chain saw, and key machine.

  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

  • Meet state or provincial health related requirements.

  • Maintain any other certification as required by state or provincial regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure maintenance of community exterior (e.g., building, lawn, plant and/or flower beds, walkways, driveways, parking lot, etc.) by performing or supervising maintenance tasks, or facilitating such performance by outside maintenance services personnel.

  • Ensure maintenance of community interior (e.g., resident suites, common areas, offices, storage rooms, kitchen, etc.) by performing or supervising maintenance tasks, or facilitating such performance by outside maintenance services personnel.

  • Inspect community daily so as to promptly address maintenance concerns.

  • Monitor Maintenance Inspection/Request daily so as to promptly address maintenance concerns.

  • Perform all duties associated with preventative maintenance program.

  • Implement and ensure adherence to company maintenance programs, including but not limited to programs that are HVAC-related, carpet-related, mold-related, etc.

  • Repair community equipment or facilitate repair by outside maintenance services personnel, including but not limited to furnaces, air conditioners, HVAC units, water heaters, plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, and appliances.

  • Perform other community maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, flooring maintenance, and general repairs.

  • Order maintenance equipment and supplies, equipment parts, etc.

  • Order maintenance services from outside maintenance services personnel.

  • Adhere to maintenance budget.

  • Assist in monitoring capital improvement projects.

  • Recommend maintenance related repairs and replacements to Executive Director.

  • Perform maintenance tasks for residents (e.g., moving furniture or hanging pictures) as needed.

  • Ensure safe, functional condition of mechanical room.

  • Ensure all equipment and supplies related to maintenance tasks are stored appropriately and safety.

  • Perform emergency maintenance services at community on an on-call basis.

  • Perform Annual Suite Service of resident suites according to schedule.

  • Assist housekeeping team members in deep cleaning of common areas according to schedule.

  • Perform duties associated with community emergency preparation and response systems, including but not limited to fire safety.

  • Maintain Hazardous Chemical Inventory and Material Safety Data Sheets according to community Hazard Communication Program.

  • Conduct certain components of new team member orientation as directed by Executive Director.

  • Conduct education and training classes for team members as directed by Executive Director.

  • Perform quality assurance audits as assigned by Executive Director.

  • Effectively interact with any corporate maintenance services consultants.

  • Effectively interact with any contracted maintenance services personnel.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Executive Director.

CHSPSC, LLC seeks a Project Director of Surgical Services for its Franklin, TN, headquarters' Clinical Services- Quality team. Summary: The Project Director of Surgical Services shall act as the expert resource and Interim Director/Manager of Surgical Services for hospitals as requested by Senior Director of Surgical Services, Division, or Senior Management. This person will be required to travel and reside in a market location for the duration of the interim assignment and may be asked to travel to other sites as assigned. This person will also provide expertise and be a mentor to new site managers or those needing assistance in enhancing department performance. This position reports to the Senior Director of Surgical Services who may request assistance for other corporate initiatives related to Perioperative Services. All duties will be fulfilled consistent with the mission of CHSPSC, LLC. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to: * Evaluating and supporting the Perioperative performance improvement program in an assigned hospital. * Assuming responsibility for the consultative development and implementation of programs and clinical initiatives, while assisting in evaluation of program processes at a hospital. * Providing on-site consultative services as needed for Corporate's Surgical Services or programs for other assigned hospitals. * Serving as mentor and expert resource person for specialty surgery programs or service line directors at assigned hospitals. * Working collaboratively with others at Corporate to facilitate and improve our surgery programs quality of service. * Assisting with strategic planning, market analysis, business development, growth and quality improvement plans for CHS hospitals regarding surgical services programs. * Observing professional ethics in maintaining confidential information concerning the personal, financial and medical or employment status of patients and staff of CHSPSC, LLC. * Developing collaborative relationships with corporate and hospital personnel, staff and physicians, to ensure a continued focus and improved operations. * Researching and developing evidence-based practice standards, best practice criteria and outcomes metrics for CHS hospitals. * Experience in coaching, mentoring and developing others in a variety of key skills including: relationship management, project management, staffing and execution.
