As a leading hotel in the luxury market, Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills is looking for a Property Operations Administrative Assistant to join this beautiful property!
This Forbes 5-Star, AAA 5-Diamond hotel has 170 rooms, 6,300 square feet of banquet space, and 4 food and beverage outlets. This includes 2 Jean-Georges concepted restaurants, lobby lounge, and in-room dining.
Classification: Full-Time
Shift: Monday-Friday
The ideal candidate will have at least three (3) years of administrative experience along with the following:
Ability to work with maximum accuracy
Excellent ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and openly in all interactions.
Ability to actively demonstrate initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity
Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
Efficiency and attention to detail, maintaining a keen sense of urgency at all times.
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment, must be self-directed, motivated and demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Luxury Hotel experience (preferred)
Customer service experience 1 year (preferred)
Purchasing experience (preferred)
Knowledge of Hilton systems (preferred)

What will I be doing?
As a Property Operations Administrative Assistant, you would be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to department managers in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Greet and assist guests and respond to requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Perform word-processing, typing, e-mailing, data-entry, filing, faxing, copying, processing mail and taking notes and/or dictation
Answer telephones
Expedite correspondence
Make travel arrangements
Perform other general office duties and assist with special projects, as needed
Assist with payroll
Submitting purchase orders
Filter maintenance requests

Pay Range: The hourly rate is $27.00 - $30.00 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
