Position Summary:

Facilities is responsible for the care and maintenance of 5 million square feet of academic, administrative & athletic facilities, on a 388 acre urban campus. The Property Manager is responsible for the coordination of building services/operations related to residential facilities, including , but not limited to, cleaning, painting, remodeling, maintenance, furnishings, and assuring student residences are ready for move in and assess after move out. Monitor general upkeep in all student rooms, apartments, houses and suites including common spaces both interior and exterior.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum 3 years recent, documented work experience in property management field.

  • Successful computer knowledge, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Windows and other software.

  • Database and spreadsheet management skills for record-keeping.

  • Must have valid driver's license with low risk driving record.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of performance.

  • Organizational skills and ability to maintain high degree of accuracy and attention to details.

  • Experience in problem-solving.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Commitment to quality assurance.

  • Customer service and interpersonal communication skills working with various constituents.

  • Experience supervising staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction/property management or related field.

  • Demonstrated experience in construction/maintenance trades.

  • Previous experience in a university environment.

  • Demonstrated skill in property evaluations/inspections.
