Job Description Job Description Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Property Manager to oversee our property's day-to-day operations in Austin TX of a 182 units.

This role is key in leading the property team, optimizing performance, and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in LIHTC and Affordable Housing management, with a proven track record of success in managing turnaround or recently renovated properties. This role requires a hands-on approach, with a focus on team development, operational efficiency, and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all core business operations including leasing, resident relations, marketing, maintenance, budgeting, accounts receivable/payable, vendor management, recruitment, and team development. Conduct regular team meetings to set goals, monitor progress, and align on strategies for success.

Develop and communicate a clear, actionable vision for the property to all team members. Manage procurement of supplies and equipment in line with the Annual Operating Budget. Prepare and submit monthly HUD/LIHTC compliance reports accurately and on time.

Oversee application screening, lease agreements, and the accurate collection of fees and rents in accordance with HUD/LIHTC regulations. Perform daily property inspections, focusing on vacant units and overall site conditions. Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor (if applicable) to conduct on-site safety meetings and uphold safety standards.

Address and resolve resident issues promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and communicating resolutions as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong background in sales, marketing, and financial management.

Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to overcome objections and create urgency. Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently. Flexibility to work weekends as needed. Education & Experience:

Associate’s degree preferred but not required. 2-3 years of experience managing LIHTC properties is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Zoom, and Teams. Experience with property management software such as Onesite or Yardi (CRM, Voyager, P2P) is required.
