$48,006 - $62,004 annually

Location:Dade City

Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Reports to: Director of Technology Services

The Pasco County Property Appraiser's Office proudly serves one of Florida's fastest-growing counties in a time of unprecedented expansion and investment. We are seeking an ideal candidate for the role of Technical Analyst I with a proven background in supporting various technology hardware and software. This individual should feel comfortable working both independently and collaboratively on tasks requiring exceptional analytical and development skills. The Technical Analyst I works under supervision of the Director of Technology Services and provides computer applications support for our fast-paced, growing team. Growth and advancement are available when adaptability, proficiency, and contribution to the success of the team are displayed.

Essential Job Functions

  • Installs, maintains, and provides support for end user computers, IT assets, and other technology related devices.

  • Supports business applications and software to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.

  • Assists in maintaining IT infrastructure hardware.

  • Opens, troubleshoots, and escalates tickets using a service desk tool.

  • Deploys security updates and verify compliance with information security policies.

  • Assists in maintenance and compliance with backup and recovery policies.

  • Supports basic database operations, such as table creation and query composition.

  • Maintains current inventory and asset management records.

  • Provides basic training to new users for computer operations and office procedures.

  • Builds sustainable relationships and trust with stakeholders through prompt, courteous and interactive communication.

  • Performs related work as required.

Minimum Requirements

PHYSICAL SKILLS:

  • Requires sitting for extended periods

  • Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written, and visual communication.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited college or university.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with computer hardware assembly and repairs.

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Office products.

  • Proficient in desktop computer configurations within Active Directory environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

  • Possess exceptional attention to detail in all tasks, consistently maintaining organized

systems and workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server.

  • Experience in cybersecurity, including knowledge of security best practices, risk

assessment and incident response.

LICENSE, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS:

  • Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.

  • Current CompTIA A+ certification or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of employment.
