Description

Summary:

We are seeking talented, motivated, sales oriented, quota driven candidates who possess their 20-44 Property and Casualty licence and EZLynx CRM experience, to join our fast growing Insurance Agency. The selected individuals must be self-motivated, hardworking, reliable, experienced with personal lines and be highly ethical.

These positions will entail all responsibilities involved with the day to day activities of a Property and Casualty Lines Sales Insurance Agent.

Duties and

Responsibilities:

  • Selling Auto, Home and other personal lines products to individuals and families within an assigned territory using consultative sales techniques
  • Contacting customers using established lead methodologies for new business
  • Exceeding sales goals for volume of new business quoted
  • Selling complex coverage per underwriting guidelines for multiple states with multiple carriers
  • Selling within different carriers niche markets by quickly assessing the correct risk for per client.

Minimum Position

Requirements:

  • This position requires a current Florida 220 Property and Casualty General Lines or a 2044 Personal Lines License
  • Must have a minimum of 2, but preferably 3-5 years of proven track record insurance sales experience.
  • Organizational skills and effective time management is required to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to educate customers in order to tailor insurance coverage specific to their needs, and potential exposures
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills/team player
  • Must be computer literate-Proficient in MS Office products and EZLynx.
  • High School graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
  • Spanish a plus

VIEW JOBS 11/9/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-07T00:00 Overview As a Casualty Claim Specialist II, you will be responsible for the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, disposition and settlement of Auto Liability claims, to determine legal liability, damages, and coverage. Assigned claims may involve routine to more complex soft tissue injuries including uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, minor scaring, surgical procedures recommended but not preformed, multiple competing claims, claims with potential for excess exposures, and complex coverage issues requiring direct involvement in casualty claim handling with minimal supervision. Exceptional evaluation and judgment skills are required to develop all potential exposures in the file, and to properly set expense and indemnity reserves. Protection of our Insured's and the Company's financial exposures are critical. Our insurance operations actively generate revenues from selling non-standard personal automobile insurance policies and related products in 15 states. Acceptance Insurance leased and operated 349 retail locations and a call center staffed with employee-agents. Responsibilities * Complete Bodily Injury Evaluation forms and make recommendations for the disposition of claims in excess of individual settlement authority. * Evaluate policy coverage, contact insureds, claimants, attorneys, body shops and medical staff to determine injuries stemming from an accident while determining and establishing reserve requirements. * Document computer log with results of review and intentions for handling. * Plan and conduct investigations (including but not limited to interviewing parties involved, collecting and evaluating documentation and securing evidence and protecting the chain-of-custody, determine inspection needs, order police reports, scene investigation, take witness statements, review material damage photos, order medical reports, etc.) to analyze coverage, determine liability, compensability, and extent of damages. * Compile information for decision making with discussion of claims committee where appropriate. * Evaluate the medical injury exposure within guidelines, obtain authority when appropriate and make proper and timely payments. * Maintain accurate records and handle administrative responsibilities associated with processing and payment of claims. Record and update status notes, and document results of contacts, relevant medical reports and duration information per Best Practices. * Determine need for independent adjusters, cause and origin experts, independent medical examiners, economists, accident re-constructionists, and engineers. * Respond timely and appropriately to all settlement demands. * Keep internal and external customers advised of file status and other matters as required. * Evaluate claim for potential fraud and work with Special Investigations Unit as required. * Assess actual damages associated with claims and conduct negotiations to settle claims. * Determine if subrogation exists and take steps necessary to initiate recovery efforts. * Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Skills required to perform the job: * Demonstrates proficiency in the investigation, analysis, evaluation and negotiation including interpretation of coverages.
