We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Property Accountant to join our team. This role will focus on managing the financial aspects of our multifamily properties, utilizing Yardi software. As a Property Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, account reconciliation, and providing financial analysis and reports.

This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities: Oversee all financial aspects of assigned multifamily properties, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Utilize Yardi software to manage all accounting functions, including general ledger entries, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. Conduct regular financial analysis, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement. Coordinate with property managers and other team members to ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.

Prepare and present financial reports to management, providing insights and analysis as needed. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to property accounting. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.

Participate in regular audits, resolving discrepancies and ensuring accurate financial records. Continuously assess and improve accounting processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting, specifically with multifamily properties. Proficiency with Yardi software is required. Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and account reconciliation.

Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections. Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
