Property Accountant

JOB SUMMARY

We are hiring for an experienced Property Accountant in either the Irvine, CA, or Palo Alto, CA area. The Property Accountant will interact with and support upper-level management by providing key analytics to track the portfolio's performance.

• Prepare monthly/quarterly and annual reports to share with management

• Review and approve monthly financial statements prepared by vendors

• Maintain and analyze all accounting records

• Prepare all interim and year-end audit work papers

• Prepare and submit all financial and compliance reports to lenders and partners

• Provide accurate and timely financial information to internal departments promptly

• Prepare interim and year-end tax compliance, audit, and tax work papers
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of Accounting experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related fields

• Experience in working in the multifamily industry

• Proficient in Excel and other accounting software

• Ability to communicate complex issues effectively
