An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Promote and maintain all steps of the Red Carpet Customer Service program with each patron and employee you may come in contact

  • Plan and execute monthly displays and decorations necessary for events and promotions.

  • Assist guests at casino promotions and events as necessary and as requested.

  • Communicate with other casino departments to inform and facilitate necessary planning of promotional events.

  • Complete telemarketing calls to ensure guest awareness of property events and offers.

  • Accepts and records RSVP's to player parties and events.

  • Effectively plans, organizes and prioritizes a heavy workload with competing priorities.

  • Maintains a level of professionalism that will make guests want to return to Hollywood Casino St Louis.

  • Anticipates the guest's needs and responds appropriately with a sense of urgency.

  • Effectively communicates with management in order to fulfill and address any issues and needs requested by guests or employees.

  • Assist the marketing staff with the execution of all other marketing programs.

  • Presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same

  • Must work well under pressure, and meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.

  • Must at all times demonstrate ethical and cooperative behavior with guests, co-workers and supervisors.

  • Adhere to all departments/company policies and procedures

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D required.

  • Six months or more related customer service and/or marketing experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of and experience in promotions planning and execution preferably within a casino environment.

  • Superb organizational skills.

  • Customer service and stage presence skills.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word).

  • Ability to make sound decisions based on limited data and in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and employee relations skills.

  • Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests and vendors.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and to promote cooperative approach between departments.

  • Ability to work unsupervised.
