CUMULUS MEDIA | Nashville, TN is offering an amazing opportunity as a PART-TIME PROMOTIONS AND MARKETING INTERN providing support to our Marketing Director and Promotions Team representing our brands. If you are 18 years of age and currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college or trade school, and are eligible for an internship, have an outgoing personality, a passion for media, a flexible schedule, and looking to get into the media/music industry, this is the perfect opportunity for you! The position requires extreme reliability and flexibility. Who We Are:

CUMULUS | Nashville features 5 stations in Nashville/Middle Tennessee. Our stations include: WGFX (104.5 The Zone), WWTN (SuperTalk 99.7 WTN), WSM-FM (95.5 Nash Icon), WKDF (103.3 Country), WQQK (92Q) and Titans Radio. The cluster of 5 stations reaches hundreds of thousands of listeners on a daily basis. In addition, we reach the entire country with a suite of digital products.

Key Responsibilities:

Promotions interns will be organized, detail-oriented, motivated self-starters looking to gain hands-on experience in the radio industry. Daily responsibilities include, and may not be limited to:

• Handling listener relations by contacting prize winners

• Maintaining a prize winner database

• Assembly and execution of contests and winner selection

• Organizing and filing prize winner information

• Writing copy and performing web updates

• Assisting the street team at station events and appearances in the Middle Tennessee Area

• Assisting with compiling of client recaps

• Some graphic design

• Event preparation and some event coordination

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

• No experience necessary, however Customer Service experience helpful

• Must be 18 years of age and currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college or trade school, and eligible for/enrolled in their internship program

• Must have valid driver license and clean driving record

• Reliable; have a flexible schedule and be available to work at least 15 hours per week

• May require lifting or moving up to 75 pounds

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

• Outgoing, energetic, detail-orientated and responsible

• Proficient using computers and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

• Multi-tasking abilities

• Event experience a plus

• Strong Social Media skills with sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Social Bakers preferred
