Proliferation Analyst

Firebird AST is seeking an onsite Proliferation Analyst with an active Top Secret clearance and with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in Washington, D.C. The Proliferation analyst will be responsible for conducting all source analysis on nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare efforts. The contract is pending; anticipated award is July 2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct all-source analysis of foreign conventional, nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare programs in support of U.S. counter proliferation efforts.

• Produce analytic assessments for the JC, DoD, and other U.S. and allied Government agencies and coalition forces on counter-proliferation, nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare topics, arms control, exploitation program planning, development, and execution.

• Perform supply chain vulnerability analysis as well as procurement needs for conventional, missile, nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare programs.

REQUIRED

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph.

• Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience preferred.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• CWMD Intelligence Analysis experience

• Supply Chain Vulnerability Analysis experience.

• Ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines.

• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.

EDUCATION

• Bachelors Degree preferred but will consider years of experience.

CLEARANCE

• Active/current DoD Top Secret/SCI with ability to obtain CI Poly.

PREFERRED

• Bachelors Degree.

• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly.
