Lockheed Martin is seeking a Historian/Project Manager/Planner to support History Investigation, Reporting, and Organization for a position in Fayetteville, NC.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE

Recording and documenting recent organizational history

Recording and documenting organizational growth and change

Development of a comprehensive, targeted, investigation and formal written report to capture extensive organizational history

Cataloguing and organization using modern technical tools (SharePoint, Confluence, OneDrive, etc.) of historical files, photos, videos, reports, objects, and materials.

Capturing and documenting operations and lessons learned

Capturing and documenting organizational events, changes, and accomplishments

Recording and documenting Command team, leaders, and subject matter expert post-deployment after action reviews and lessons learned

Proactive outreach with veteran unit members , and current unit members to accurately capture unit history

Recording and documenting specified capability developments

Investigation, interviewing, capturing, and producing historical reports for executive and educational purposes

Consolidate, enumerate, and reorganize the history, documents, and artifacts that have been captured using modern technical tools

Capturing and producing relevant data in a form that meets the organization's format and storage requirements

Basic Qualifications

A Master's degree or 6 years of commensurate work experience, and Graduate level research, writing, and verbal communication skills

Excellent interviewing, documenting, and research skills for historical purposes

Strong skills and comfort using modern technology to catalog and organize historical information and files

Familiarity with data formats, structures, and indexing for query/search purposes

Above Average Knowledge and Understanding of:

  • US Special Operations enterprise, relationships, and environments

  • Foreign special operations organizations, relationships, and environments

  • Special Operations combat tactics, techniques and procedures

Must have an active Top Secret clearance

VIEW JOBS 10/14/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-01-12T00:00 Senior Project Manager & Site Lead This requirement is in anticipation of an award for conducting EKM support for USSOCOM and subordinate organizations. Anticipated award date is January 2021 with need for immediate presence to support transition activities. Support will be for Headquarters USSOCOM, Service Components, and Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), forming the Special Operations Force (SOF) Enterprise Knowledge Management (EKM) program. The SOF EKM operations are the integration of people, processes, and technology, to facilitate the exchange of operationally relevant information and expertise to increase organizational performance. This involves creating, organizing, applying, and transferring knowledge to facilitate situational understanding and decision-making, which enables decision superiority. * Applications. SOF knowledge management operations are supported by collaborative applications that currently include: Microsoft (MS) SharePoint, MS SQL Server; MS Business Intelligence Stack; MS CRM; DefenseReady, SOCTube, Accenture Task Management Tool; Skype, Jabber, Defense Communications Services, Microsoft Office; and Records Management Software etc. Supported applications will change with available technology. * Networks. These technologies reside on various DoD networks that currently include: Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet), Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet), Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System (BICES) networks, etc. These technologies and systems may change as mission dictates and are collectively referred to in this document as SOF KM systems. * Standards and Practices. Ensure data standards are validated against Department of Defense Directive 8320.02. Provide documentation to support the DoD and USSOCOM required system registration, certification, and accreditation. Duplication of Technologies will strictly conform with and be documented per current Federal (Clinger Cohen Act) and DOD and USSOCOM law/ instruction/ directives/ memorandums/ Commander's Guidance. Specific tasks include: * Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. * Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. * Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services. * Defines project scope and objectives. * Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. * Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. * Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. * Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables. * Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. * Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Additional duties as Site Lead include: * Serve as the focal point to work with the assigned ACOR. * Maintain detailed knowledge of daily activities associated with the SOW and TO applicable to the site * Responsible for day-to-day communication with the ACOR designated for the site. Required: * MA/MS Degree and/or 10+ years of relevant experience. * PMI PMP certification required. * Must also have an IAT Level 2 certification, such as: CCNA Security; CySA+; CSA+; GICSP; GSEC; Security+ CE; CND; SSCP. Preferred: * Certified Scrum Master. * Prefer degree in Information Technology or a related field. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. An active secret security clearance is required.
